For support with alcohol-related family concerns in Oakland, Al-Anon & Al-Ateen is here to help. We are a fellowship of people whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking, and we meet in the Hawthorne area of Oakland.
Our groups offer a welcoming place to share experiences, find understanding and learn how others have coped with similar challenges. Al-Teen meetings are available for younger people, giving them a space to talk openly with peers who understand.
We serve families and individuals across Oakland and Alameda County, and no membership or fee is required to attend. Newcomers are always welcome, and you can take as much or as little part as feels right for you.
