Aguila Defense Training

Aguila Defense Training is a self-defense school and firearms academy in El Cerrito focused on practical, confidence-building training for students across Contra Costa County and the East Bay. We teach beginners and experienced shooters alike, with a strong emphasis on marksmanship fundamentals such as trigger control, sight picture and breathing, so every student builds accuracy one step at a time.

Our classes are run with patience and care: instructors explain each technique clearly, correct kindly, and keep every session engaging from start to finish. Whether you are learning your first skills or sharpening advanced ones, our students tell us they leave with real progress and a lot of enjoyment.

Many of our students return week after week, and we'd love to welcome you to the mat or the range.
