Afro Bushido Academy, SPC

Based in Redwood City, Afro Bushido Academy, SPC provides martial arts instruction for children, teens and adults across the Peninsula and the surrounding San Mateo County community. Our classes are small enough that every student receives hands-on coaching, and our kids' classes are often supported by high school students who help the adult instructors.

We teach self-defense and traditional martial arts with a modern Bay Area spirit, blending Eastern and Western philosophies into a fun, welcoming learning environment. Students tell us our coaches are professional, patient and detailed, slowing movements down to help every technique come out right.

Discipline is at the heart of what we teach, and many of our families have brought all of their children through our doors. Our studio is clean, spacious and built to make newcomers feel at home from their very first class.

To find out which class fits you or your child best, book through our website or stop by and talk with our team.
