About
In the heart of Ralph Bunche, Acme Builders handles general contracting, kitchen and bathroom remodels, decks, carpentry and whole-home renovations for homeowners across Oakland and Alameda County. We take on older and vintage homes as well as starter homes that need serious work, and we are happy to walk through the layout with you, from first ideas through to the final finish.
Our team gives detailed, transparent bids so you know what the work will involve and what it will cost before we begin, and we keep you informed with clear updates throughout the project. We look for practical ways to save money and use the right materials for the job, including reclaimed materials where they make sense, and we always explain the options so you can choose what fits your budget.
Our crew works quickly and carefully, and we pride ourselves on being polite, professional and easy to work with from start to finish.
Homeowners across Oakland and the East Bay who want a builder with deep, hands-on knowledge of carpentry and modern building practice are welcome to call or stop by to talk about their project.
