About
523SouthernhalalBbq Soulfood Takeout brings takeout-style southern halal barbecue and soul food to Eastmont Hills and the East Bay. We are a restaurant in Oakland focused on hearty, home-style dishes served for pickup.
Our menu draws on classic southern cooking, prepared with halal ingredients so it fits the needs of our Muslim neighbors and anyone who enjoys a good plate of barbecue. We keep things simple and satisfying, with generous portions made for sharing at home or on the go.
Many of our guests across Oakland and the surrounding East Bay communities come back for the flavor and the friendly service.
